The entire system of review for teachers only encourages more red tape, not better teaching. The review system should be in place to give us the tools we need to do our jobs better. Like much of what’s happening in public education, teacher evaluations are regularly a whole lot of form with no substance.

But then I also think filling out my name/address/telephone on the same form two years in a row to be impossibly unfair, so, kids these days, right?
