Okay, it is officially 1:00 am (on the dot) here in Ft. Worth, Texas.

I've reviewed all projects and offered lengthy evaluations. Dan and Scott have an email with my decisions in their in-boxes. I'm tired...but loved the process...and the variety of ways everyone responded to the contest.

The top 3 really stood out. Several made me jealous. All taught me something about them as people. A great collection to be asked to review and explore.

Thanks, Dan -- Cheers, Christian

P.S. Now...where is my pizza? And don't send me a Second Life link with a 50cents-off coupon to go to Dominoes.

Do you guys live close? Or will the pizza be virtual? Maybe you could just meet at a virtual Pizza Hut in Second Life. Thanks Dan for a fun contest.

I don't doubt the judges have a grueling deliberation period ahead of them but neither do I doubt their capability to remain clear-headed without curbside pizza delivery.

I mean, what are we here if not professionals?

Alright, Dan...the countdown is now official.

Curious. Have you sent me, and/or Scott, 'directions' for the judging process, time-line, and your vision for assuring quality assessment as we go through a really remarkable set of entries?

And will you be sending pizza our way to massage the long hours ahead? (he smiles curiously)

Cheers to you for pulling off a brilliant on-the-fly concept. No doubt that it will pick up steam -- beyond a 'meme' scheme -- in the days/weeks/months ahead. Anxious to see not only who we see as the clearcut winner (or winners) at evaluation's end, but also what the post-beta version (2.0 -- oops, sorry for using that phrase on your blog ;) my friend) will be in time (much like what year two over at the Univ of Chicago will be like, as well.

Cheers and good luck getting us in motion this weekend.
