In Bruges is a very fine film – hilarious and incredibly violent if you like those two things together. I’ve been to Bruges, so maybe that helps.

Morro Bay is good fun. There is a little cafe down near the golf course that makes the best black bean nachos you have ever tasted. Do yourself the favor and sample them. We are central coast vacationers too, Cambria for us, but we always make a jaunt to Morro Bay. Not this year however, as we are new baby +2 days. Can’t say I am going to miss the coast much this year :-)

Fantastic! Some of my best memories come from times where I was acting nowhere near my age. I developed my passion for surfing in the “Jetty” next to the “Rock” in Morro Bay. 12′ double overhead. You learn to surf quick in those waters.

@Brian, kind of a wedding reception part deux, some good friends renting out a beach house, acting nowhere near our ages. @Vincent, saw the trailer awhile back and dug the visuals a lot. Tepid reviews scared me off but with your recommendation I'll add it to the list. (I mean, hell, I'll add the entire IMDB top 250 to the list 'cause odds are against me getting around to any of them.) @Steve, dang, homey. That's coming down fast. If you stop down to Santa Cruz, let me know.

Personally I’ve been in crash zone. Early bed. Sleep in. Read. Nap. Read more. Repeat. The blog posts and planning that should happen may end up delayed again in an effort to maintain sanity.

You need to have the three weeks we have over here in Central CA. Even with three weeks I couldn’t finish all those tasks you’ve assigned yourself. Being considerably older, though, I am going to get lots of rest and not run around much. We will be in Cayucos after the New Years just to walk on the beach before heading back to the classroom
